CAD Design for a Bespoke Gatehouse

For Fibaform Products Ltd, a project was completed combining 2D CAD design, 3D modeling, and rendered images to develop a bespoke gatehouse concept.

The process began with AutoCAD approval drawings, including plan views and elevations, allowing the client to review and approve the design before production.

After approval, the team created internal views, a Bill of Materials, and cut lists to clearly define all parts required for manufacturing.

A 1:1 scale 3D model was then developed in SolidWorks, applying realistic materials and cladding to match the final structure. This allowed the creation of external and internal renderings, helping the client visualize the finished gatehouse before construction.

This workflow shows how combining 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering helps transform a concept into a clear, production-ready design.
