Reverse Engineering & 3D CAD Assembly for Bison Products Ltd

At Imagine Draughting Services Ltd, we were commissioned by Bison Products Ltd to deliver a complete Reverse Engineering and 3D CAD modelling solution for an existing product range.

Reverse Engineering Existing Components

The project involved reverse engineering multiple components, including:

• Sheet metal parts
• Electrical components
• Fixings and bought-out items

Each individual part was carefully analysed and recreated as a precise 3D CAD model. For certain sheet metal elements, we were provided with DXF flat patterns, which supported a more efficient and accurate reverse engineering process.

Complete 3D Assembly with Applied Materials

Once all parts were modelled, they were combined into a fully detailed 3D assembly. Relevant materials were applied to ensure realistic representation and technical accuracy.

Exploded Rendered Images for Client Presentation

In addition to CAD modelling, the client required exploded rendered images from multiple camera angles. These visuals:
