AK Workspace: From 2D CAD Drawings to Professional 3D Rendered Layouts
In the AK Workspace project, the team at Imagine Draughting Services (IDS) worked closely with the building contractor to transform initial concepts into clear and realistic visualizations using professional 2D CAD Services and 3D CAD Services.
The project began with detailed 2D CAD drawings, which served as the technical foundation for the entire layout. Using SolidWorks, these drawings were developed into a complete 3D CAD model, allowing multiple workspace configurations to be explored and reviewed.
Through several design discussions, different layout options were evaluated to ensure the workspace was both functional and visually effective.
Once the final configuration was approved, the model was rendered using KeyShot to produce high-quality 3D rendered images. These included isometric and first-person perspectives, helping the client clearly visualize seating arrangements, workspace flow, and the overall environment before construction.
By combining 2D CAD drafting, 3D CAD modeling, and photorealistic rendering, IDS delivered a clear visual representation that supported faster design approvals and a smoother project handover.
